Peacefully, in the loving care of the Cedar Unit staff at St Andrews Rest Home, Dunedin on June 6, 2023. Dearly loved Sister of the New Zealand Dominican Sisters, in the 58th year of her Religious Profession. Loved daughter of William* and Mollie* Baird, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Bill* and Kelly, Philip* and Aileen, Annie Small*, Stephen and Marg*, treasured aunt of her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr Marie Neylon, Dr Joel Papak and all the staff at Ward 7A Dunedin Public Hospital for their care of Mary Anna. Requiem Mass for Mary Anna will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Basilica, Macandrew Road, Dunedin, on Monday, June 12, at 11.00am. Passed away after a long and courageous battle, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday 8th June 2023, aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Trish. Dearly loved father and father in law of Debbie and Bruce, Tony and Vanessa, and Vicki and Brett. Loved Grandad Ron of Brooke; Jessica and Thomas; Meghan and Logan, and great grandad Ron of Maisie. Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Wallace and Kaylene (Waikaka), Lex (Perth) and friend of Diane (Gore), Lynda and the late Noel Gardyne (Waikaka). Allan passed away in Southland Hospital, true to form Allan fought to the end.
