Much loved Nana and Great Nana of all her grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Dearly loved wife of the late Dinby (Hitler) Kereru, mother to Stuart and Keri, Brent and the late Diane; grandmother to Alesha, Quintin Carin, Gerrard, Dinby, Hana-Lee, Jade, Naeri and all her great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Olive’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Tuesday, 10 th October at 1:00pm, the service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery. MORTIMER, James Ernest (Jim):
1953 – 2023. Sadly, Jim passed away on Friday 6th October surrounded by family at Bupa Ascot Care Home. Loving husband of the late Jan Mortimer, much loved father and father-in-law of Lisa, Rachael, Kim, David and Jess. Devoted Grandad and Da to Sofia and Josiah, Maddy, Noah and Gabe, Ella, Jacob and Mikayla. Loved and respected brother of Kevin, Margaret and Kayleen as well as many nieces and nephews, and precious son of Jim and Kath. Treasured friend of Alex. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. A service to celebrate Jim’s rich life will be held in the Avenal Park Funeral Home, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, 11th October at 1:00pm followed by a wake at The Ave Sports Bar, Avenal Street after a private cremation.
