It is with great sadness Derek’s family wish to advise of his passing on Thursday, 2nd May 2024 at Rowena Jackson Retirement Home, aged 86 years. Much loved husband of the late Thelma Frances Angus, nee Hazley. Cherished and loving father and father-in-law of Debbie and the late Bruce Reinke, Robyn and Ross Wilson, Hamish Angus and Sinead Mulhern. & “The best grandad in the world” to Aleisha Reinke, Andrew and Liam Wilson, and Isla, and Shae Angus. A dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the generous support of Dawn Acker and the wonderful staff at Rowena Jackson Retirement Home for their care and attention initially in the Edinburgh wing and latterly the Salsbury Wing. A service to celebrate Derek’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday 8th May at 2.00 pm. Followed by refreshments and a time for sharing. In lieu of flowers, donations to Southland Charity Hospital Trust would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 56 Moa Street, Invercargill.

Peacefully at home, 30 April 2024. Aged 79 years. Much loved husband of the late Dulcie. Loved and cherished father and father in-law of Rob and Deidre, and Carol. Much loved and treasured grandfather of Alec. A dearly loved brother, uncle, and cousin to his family in England. Guardian to the late Max the cat. A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 2.00pm. A private cremation will follow. WALKER, Gordon Lyn “Lyn”:
On Wednesday April 24, 2024, surrounded by family, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Robyn for 55 years, treasured and loved father of Georgie, Hamish, Kate (deceased), and Angus, and father-in-law of Ben, Mary, and Jodie. Granddad Gordy to Emma, Jonty, and Archie; Granddad to Liam, Sam, and Maggie; and Lyn to Phoenix, Jet, and Nova. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ann and James, and Tony and Raye, and a loved uncle and cousin of many.
