FLETT, James Robert Lyon:
18.02-1933 – 29.06.2023. Fondly known as Grandad – Jim left to go to the Lord. Loving husband of Betty (Elizabeth, nee Burnett) for 63 years, living at Scotts Gap. Father and father-in-law to Robert and Jane, Murray* and Sue, and Joanne. Grandad to Luke and Michelle, Jess and Cho, Brooke, Sam and Ella; Katie, Anna, Isaac, Libby, and Isabel. Great-Grandad to Casey, Dexter, Piper; and Myla, Ryder, and Kobe. Many thanks to Cargill and Rowena Jackson Resthomes for all their care. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in Otautau Connect, 134 Main Street Otautau on Tuesday 4 July at 1.00pm, interment to follow at the Otautau Cemetery. MUIRHEAD, Olwyn Gladys:
Peacefully after a courageous battle on Sunday, 2nd July 2023 in the care of BUPA Ascot Care Home with her loving family by her side, aged 99 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack. Cherished Mum of Gaylyn & David* McIntyre, John* & Jenny*, Bronwyn & Dawson Cowie, Wendy & Wiari Te Patu, and Warrick & Tabby. Loved Nan of Alistair, Andrew, Bruce, Rachael, Trudi, Roydon, Tania, Debbie, Julie, Leoma, Ngarita, Timothy and their partners and Great Nan of her Great and Great Great Grandchildren. A loved aunt of her nieces and nephews. Olwyn’s family would like to thank the Staff of BUPA Ascot and Dr. Ewan Adam for their wonderful care of Olwyn and her family.
