A service to celebrate Wilfred’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club, Esplin Room, Bury Street, on Wednesday, 1 November, at 1.30pm. (of Gore) Suddenly, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, aged 76 years. Loved husband of Alison, devoted and much-loved Dad and father-in-law of Lucy and Tim Richardson (Christchurch), Julia and Paul Davidson (Auckland), Clair (Christchurch), Olivia and Jackson Copland (Dunedin), loved special Grandad of Hugo Richardson and Luca Davidson. Youngest son of *George and *Vida Wilden, loved brother of *Mervyn, Cyril (Dunedin) and loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Eldred’s life will be held in the Gore Baptist Church, Ardwick Street, on Thursday, November 2, at 2.00pm, followed by cremation. WILLIS, Roger Hamilton:
On October 25, 2023, at Waikiwi Gardens Rest Home, Invercargill. Aged 80 years. Loved son of the late Alan and Chris Willis. Loved brother and brother-in-law of John (deceased) and Beryl Willis (London), Marjorie and Ian McQuillan (Napier), Barbara and Bob Lysaght (Christchurch), Keitha and Warwick Ross (Dunedin). Roger was also a loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews scattered worldwide. Roger’s life will be remembered and celebrated in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 10.30am, on Wednesday 1 November. Private cremation to follow.
