It is with much sadness and after a short illness Murray passed away on Friday, 21st March 2025 at Kew Hospital in the presence of his family, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret, Much loved Father and Father-in-Law of Chris Black and Kelly Fewster, Damian and Tanya Black, Katie Black, Matthew and Erin Black, Margot and Steven Rowlands, Tim Black and Jessica Britt. Loved Son of Lucy* and Bill* Slater & Son-in-law of Nora* and Jim* Cunningham. Loved Grandfather of Tiaan & Tarryn, Courtney, Ella and Macey, Jake and Louis, Kaitlyn & Harrison, William, Charlie and Mabel. Loved Great Grandfather of Evelyn & Theo Black. BOYER, Elizabeth Ann (Betty):
Peacefully in the care of Southland Hospital, on Friday 21st March 2025. A loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mum of Brendon and Leeanne. Adored Nana of Miles, Victoria, and Cameron, and a loved Great Nana. A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held in the Lindisfarne Community Church, Corner of Miller and Lindisfarne Sts, Invercargill on Wednesday 26th March 2025 at 1 pm. PASCO, Geoffrey David (Geoff):
Died peacefully at Hospice Southland surrounded by his loving family on 22nd March 2025. Dearly loved husband of Tui, and amazing father, father-in law and Grandad of Michelle and Terry Keene, Alex and Troy, Sam and Conner; the late Nicola Parkes, Ryan and Nish, Tori and Josh; Pete and Tracy, Reuben; Karen. Very special and loved friend of Chris and Cheryl Parkes and family. A much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. RIP.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, corner Rimu and View Streets on Tuesday 25th March at 1pm, followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. Rosary at Hawthorndale Care Village Chapel, 621 Tay Street on Monday 24th at 7pm. We would like to thank the Hospice Southland team for their loving care of Geoff. Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Aged 90. Loved wife of the late Lindsay (Ginger). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Richard, and Pam and Mark Flaus. Loved Nana of Rachael, Simon, Harry, and Shaun. Great Grandmother of Quinn, Libby, Kyra, Avery, Zebb, and Austin. In accordance with Raema’s wishes a private family service has been held.
