With great sadness, the family announce the passing of Joe, on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Rowena Jackson Village, Invercargill, aged 92 years. A beloved husband of Lee, much loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Shona and Peter Skelt, Graeme, James and Karen, David and Joanna, adored grandfather of Hamish and Kiri, Lara, Jessica and Todd, Ruby, Harry, Zoe, Finn and Elise, and a loved great-grandfather of Teddy. A service to honour and celebrate Joe’s life will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, 199 Esk Street, Invercargill, on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1.30pm. A special thanks to the team at Rowena Jackson for Joe’s care. Passed away at the Southland Hospice on Thursday 16 May 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Gerry. Much loved mum and mum-in-law of Chris, Martin and Jane, Derek and Liz, Suzanne and Shane and Tony. An adored Oma of Felisha, Johanna, Cody, Paris and Brooklyn; and Jason, Daniel, Georgia and Taylor. Loved Oma to her 12 great-grandchildren. Devoted sister of Lois, Bernice, Dorothy, Frank and Diane and loved aunty to her many nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honour and celebrate Pat’s life will be held at J Fraser & Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill on Wednesday 22 May at 1.00pm, followed by an interment at Eastern Cemetery.
