HENDERSON, Kenneth James Aitcheson (Ken):
Passed away in the care of Hospice Southland, on Saturday 17 August 2024, aged 71. Loved Husband of Carol, Father of Tracy, and the late Nathan. Adored Grandad Ken to Bradley, and Hannah. Grandfather of Joshua.
Ken fought to the end – let go and went peacefully.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday 20 August 2024 at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland may be left at Ken’s service. Messages to 40 Inglewood Road, Hawthorndale, Invercargill 9810.

HENDERSON, Russell George:
Passed peacefully at Southland Hospital on Wednesday, 14th August 2024. Loved husband of the late Joyce, loved father and father-in-law of Anthony and Lehann, and Cindy and Iain. Loved Poppa of Regan, Charlotte, Vaughan, Kamren, Morgan, Madisyn, Kaitlyn and Great Poppa of Aaron. Brother of Beverley, and Keith. A special thank you for the wonderful care given to Russell at the Southland Hospital, Hospice Southland and District Nursing. A private service of his life has already been held. MAWHINNEY, Kerry Andrew:
Passed away peacefully on Saturday 17th August 2024. Much loved and loving husband of the late Marie. Loved and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather to John, Michelle, Mark and Clare, Laurence and Katie, Bridget, Ben and Tilly and Max and Sunny and Tammie. Kerry will be at home until his service on Thursday 22nd August 2024, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Private cremation will follow. SINCLAIR, Brian Donald:

On Thursday 15th August 2024, at Bupa Ascot Care Home, aged 94. Loved eldest son of John* and Edith* Sinclair. Loved brother and brother in-law of Keith* and Joan, Ian, Graeme and Doreen, Ruth* and Mack* Stirling, Judy and Dave* Robertson, Bruce* and Linette, Neil and Margaret, and Donald and Philippa. Also a much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Bupa Ascot, for all their loving care of Brian. A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held in J Fraser & Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 11.00am, on Tuesday, August 20. Followed by interment at Nightcaps Cemetery.
