Ruby passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Bupa Ascot Care Home, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bert Duff and the late Tom Rabbidge. Loved mother, step-mother and mother-in-law of Martin and Valerie Rabbidge, Gordon and Julie Rabbidge, Lynley and Lindsay Rhind, *Helen Maxwell, Lyndsay Maxwell and Julie Munro, Alan and Val Duff, Ronald and Sandra Duff, Lynley and David Stevens, *Jan Duff, Robyn and Marko Celebi. Much loved grandmother and great-grandmother of her 24 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of *Ron and *Shona Martin, *Peter and *Heather Martin, *Alan and *Hillary Martin, Neil and Judy Martin, Ted and Miriam Martin. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special friend of Jackie and Ivan Coster. A service to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held in the Ascot Park Hotel, Racecourse Road, Invercargill on Thursday, March 21 at 10.30am. Interment at the Edendale Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated and can be left at the service. Suddenly and peacefully, at home, Queenstown, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, aged 83 years. Dearly loved partner of Barbara Taylor, loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Shane and Tanya, Brett and Kerry and stepfather of Mathew Taylor, grandfather and great-grandfather of Emma, Charlotte; Brittany; Eden, Lilah; Harrison, and Fletcher. “A proud Bluffy”.
