Passed away peacefully on Thursday 23 May 2024, at Vickery Court. Treasured husband of Pat. Beloved father of Owen, Maurice, Peter, Grant, and all their families. As per Allan’s wishes a private farewell has been held.

DILLON, Joan:
On Thursday June 13, 2024, at Peacehaven Village, Invercargill. Joan has gone to dance in Heaven with Cliff. Loved mum of Susan, the late Julie, and Maureen. Beloved Groovy Gran and Grandma to Melanie, Bonnie, Morgan, Renee, Bliss, Jade and Sam, and her beloved great grandchildren. Passed away peacefully on the 13 June 2024 aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Pieter Hessels. Loved Mum and mother-in-law of Robert and Cara, Linda and Darryl, Vera and Dave. Cherished Oma of Chris, Nick, Jessica, Ben, Anna, Sophie and Max and Great Grandmother to Lucas, Lucy, Hugo and Summer. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Jan and Nancy, the late Bart, Miep and the late Wim, Albert and Anja. Loving Tante Rie to her nieces and nephews. A farewell for Mum will be held On Wednesday 19 June, at 1.30pm, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Then leaving for the Eastern Cemetery. At Dunedin Hospital on Saturday, June 15, 2024, aged 76 years. Loved partner of Lyn. Friend of Garth, Terri-anne, Eloise, and Olivia and father of Michelle. Loved son of the late Mervyn and Lenore Hibbs and brother of Dawn Lee, Earle and the late Margaret. Loved uncle of Karen and Tim; Duane and Jane, and Victor; John*, and Mark and Oxana, Natasha, and Aaron. KNOWLER, Diane Louise:
12/8/1970-13/6/2024. Passed away peacefully (after a stay in hospital) in her sleep, at her Idea Services family home with her dedicated carers. Cherished eldest daughter of Kathy and Stan Knowler. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Paula and Matthew Watson, Jo and Andrew Horrell, and Lisa and Jonathan McCarthy. Loved Aunty of Jaimee, Tony, William, Luke, Harry, Sam, and Finn. A Mass to celebrate Diane’s life will be held in St Columba’s Catholic Church Riverton at 1pm Monday 17th June, then leaving for the Riverton Cemetery.
