Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Southland Hospital, on Friday 7th June 2024. Aged 87 years. Loved husband of the late Shirley. Of Alexandra. Passed away unexpectedly at Dunedin Hospital, with family by his side, on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Esme. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Gore Hospital, on Friday, June 7, 2024, aged 90 years. Unexpectedly, after a valiant fight, on Friday, June 7, 2024, aged 58 years. Dearly loved husband of Karen, loving father and father-in-law of Corina and Donald McClure (Rolleston), Lachlan, Scott and Kayla (both of Gore), and a loved Bambad of Charlotte, and Olivia. Loved son of the late Marion and John, loved brother and brother-in-law of Mark and Margaret, Chris and Haley; Cassandra and Kristen Young, Yvonne Smith, and a loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews. RYAN, Barry James:
Peacefully on Monday 3rd June 2024 at Southland Hospital, with Geraldine at his side, in his 84th year. Loved husband of Geraldine for the past 57 years. Barry was the most warm-hearted Dad to Katrina and Cindy and father-in-law to Tony and Gregg. Fun-loving Grandad to Ryan and Vanessa, Jess and Kyle. Josh and India, Olivia and Aidan. He is a special Dad and companion to Otis, his furbaby. Friend to Russell. Barry is a loved Brother, Brother-in-law, and Uncle. As per Barry’s wishes a gathering has taken place, but Barry got his final lap and chequered flag at Teretonga. “Full throttle from now on Barry.”
