It is great sadness that we announce the passing of Owen, at home, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Diane for 57 years, loved father and father-in-law to *Donna, Maria and Shaun Davers, Michelle and Blair Davers, and very proud Granddad of Joshua, Ryan and Harm Davers. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Linda and *Evan Bolger (Te Anau), Joan and Eion Wilson (Cust), Jimmy and Carol (Gore), Trish and Ian Hardy (Auckland), Linda and Paul Hitchens (Gore), Bernadette and *Cyril Ormond (Wairoa), and loved Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Friend to many in Australia and New Zealand. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of The Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Monday, October 30, at 1.30pm, followed by refreshments at the Church. BROAD, Kim Lynette:
16.12.1961 – 23.10.2023
After a stoic battle, Kim passed away with her sister by her side on Monday 23.10.2023. Eldest daughter of Patricia* and Russell Broad. Best friend and sister to Anne Cheung, Devoted auntie of Kieran Cheung* great auntie to Maddison Cheung, and partner of Steve Farrington. Loved by all. As per Kim’s wishes her cremation has already been held. McCLEAN, Roslyn:
Ros passed away after a courageous battle, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Russell. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jonny and Bronnie McClean (Milton); Kate and Ryan Butler (Christchurch); Hamish and Chantal McClean (Te Anau). Much loved Grandma Rossie of Jake, Anna, Toby, Henry, George, Zara and Jack. A special thank you to Amy Doig, Dr Paula King, District Nurses and Hospice Southland. A Celebration of Ros?s life will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 1.30pm, Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive. A private cremation will follow. In recognition of Ros?s love of flowers and the colour pink, please embrace this in some way at her service.
