CALDER, Olive Maureen:
Peacefully with family by her side, at Rowena Jackson on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late George. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Wendy and Ray Ophuis and Stephen and Pamela Calder. Loved Gran of Hayden and Paige; and Nan to Callum and Ilka, Hunter and Erik, Kayla and Caleb and a special Great-Gran to Jimmy. A loved sister-in-law of Phyllis and Norman Buchanan, Ashley and Joyce Calder, and Lynda and Richard Hemmingsen. The family are grateful to the staff at Rowena Jackson for their friendship, love and care of Olive. A service to celebrate Olive’s life will be held in the Winton Presbyterian Church, Meldrum Street on Monday, May 27 at 1.00pm. A private interment to follow. McCarron, Irene:
It’s with great sadness we share the news of Irene McCarron’s passing after a brave journey. On May 21, 2024, in Dunstan Hospital surrounded by her loving family Irene took flight (like the angel she is). Loved, cherished and adored wife of Keith. Loved and devoted mum to Jo and Mark. Loved mother-in-law of Heather. Loved and very proud nana of Brayden, Sam, Toby, Hannah and Mila. WATSON, Walter William (Tiger):
Peacefully passed away in his sleep at Enliven Peacehaven Rest Home on Wednesday 22 nd May 2024, aged 81 years. Dearly loved Dad and Father in-law of Brenda, Ryan and Melissa. Cherished grandad of Riley and Avril, Billie, Bruce and Blaire. Loved companion of the late Jenny. Beloved Poppa Tiger to all his Cunningham tribe and all their children. Beloved brother and brother in-law of Dick and Rachel, Isabel and Colin Bond, Liz and Jim Clark and the late Stewart, Frank and John. A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Tiger’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Monday 27th May 2024 at 1.00pm. Followed by a burial at the
