GOBLE, Mitchell James:
Tragically as a result of an accident on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Dearly loved and treasured son of Andrew and Raewyn. Much loved younger brother of Daniel. Cherished grandson of Merle and Hori* Goble, Ngaire* and Raymond* Johnstone, and a much loved nephew, cousin and friend to many. A service to celebrate Mitchell’s life will be held in the Gore Town and Country Club Stadium, Bury Street, Gore on Tuesday, February 21 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. SINCLAIR, Douglas John (Doug):
Passed peacefully at Clare House on Wednesday February 15th 2023, aged 75. Dearly loved husband for 52 years of Karen. Son of the late John and Doris Sinclair. Much loved and devoted father and father-in-law of Kerry and Andrew, Mel and Gus, and Brad. Loved and treasured grandad (Dougie) of Luke, Grace, Zac and Erin. Brother and brother-in-law of Ainslie and Harold.* Lilian and Bill,* Russell and Sue, Lyall and Fay, Andrew,* and Andrew and Lee, Ross and Denise, Peter and Mary-Ann, and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A celebration of Doug’s life is to be held at the Ascot Park Hotel on Monday 20th February at 1:30pm followed by interment at the Eastern Cemetery. The family wish to acknowledge and thank the wonderful care and support from staff at Mercy Hospital (Dunedin), Southland Hospice and Clare House. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southland Hospice would be much appreciated and can be left at the service.
