McClINCHY, Eileen:
Passed away peacefully at Atawhai Assisi on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Pat. Loved and respected mother of Philippa and Mark Nicklin (Christchurch), John and Jane (UK), David and Tania (Hamilton). Cherished nana to Christian and Mary, Dominic and Ferne, Emmanuel and Roma, Sam and Emily, Caitlin, and Matthew, and GG/Great Nana Eileen to Millie Rose Eileen Nicklin and Lorenzo James Nicklin. Loved sister of Mary Dalliessi (deceased) and brother George Crosbie (deceased). Vigil prayers will be held on Sunday, August 18, 3.00pm, at Assisi Chapel, Matangi. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grey Street, Hamilton East (parking off Beale Street), on Monday, August 19 at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Hamilton Park Cemetery, Newstead. STEWART, Peggie:
At Bupa Ascot Rest Home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, 13 August 2024, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late Ray; much loved mum and mother-in-law of Sharon Smith, Vicky and Stephen Wilcox, Paula and Bruce Malcolm, Deborah and David Horsham; much loved nana of Jason and Tracy, Aaron and Michelle, Lorisa-Lee*, Amy, Jacqui and Tim, Brodie, Erika and Braydan, Kayla; much loved great nana of Jayden, TJ, Cameron, Jasmin, Ayva-Jean, Blakeley, and Amelia; and cherished family member of her loving extended family.

A special thank you to all the staff that cared for Peggie at BUPA Ascot. A service for Peggie will be held in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, King Street, Invercargill on Monday, 19 August, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. On behalf of Dorothy Anderson’s family Murray, Russell, Kathy and there families, we would like to sincerely thank you all for the love and support we have received with the passing of our mum. Southland Hospice can’t thank you enough. St John Ambulance To the Invercargill District Nurses what an amazing bunch of humans you all are, special mention to Shara and Tania just thank you.
