Peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, after a long illness with family at her side, aged 69 years. Much loved and cherished wife of Ron; mother and mother-in-law of Kylie and Lisa, Brad and Neisha, Ricky and Chrissie; Nanny to Rhy, Nila, Emily, Bailey & Banjo. A loved and treasured friend to many that will be sorely missed. A service to celebrate Jude's life will be held at J Fraser & Sons Chapel, Cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday, November 6 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation. A very special thanks to Dr Ewan Adam, the District Nurses and the staff at Hospice Southland for their generous care of Jude and family. BULLOCK, Bernard:
Died peacefully October 28, 2024. Born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1933. Husband of Judith (deceased 1997), partner of Margaret (deceased 2021), stepfather of Susan & Bryan, Christine & Geoff, and Jenny; step-grandfather of Matthew, Stephen, Sarah, and Anita; step-great-grandfather of Isy, Will, Emerson, Lucy, Torben, and Harper. Treasured friend of the James family, Ron and the late Carol, Neil, Dianne, and Barbara, and their families. Over 60 years since his arrival in Invercargill from the UK in 1962, Bernard became an integral part of the extended James family, along with Judith and his mother, the late Frances Ann. O’BRIEN, Francis Nicholas (Frank):
On Tuesday 29th October 2024, Frank passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and closest friends, at Southland Hospital. Aged 64 years. Very much loved husband and soulmate of Bronwyn. Adored and loved Dad of Ellen. Respected and loved father-in-law of Lutz. Amazing loving Grandad of Louie, and Jim. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jane and David, Mike and Christine, Daryll*, Jocelyn and Chris, Sharon and Neil, Janelle and Nigel*. Frank was a loved and respected uncle, cousin and a friend to many. Bronwyn, Ellen and Lutz would like to thank Gwen and her team at Dunedin Oncology and the Southland Oncology Department for their care during Frank’s battle with cancer. Your support, humour and kindness, didn't go unnoticed. A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held in the Waiau Town & Country Club, 41 King Street, Tuatapere, on Monday 4 November 2024, at 1.00pm.
