On 31 March, surrounded by his loving family, John went to sleep after a courageous battle. Beloved and precious soul mate of Pamela Anne. BROWN, Heath:
Passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 after a courageous battle at Loganlea, Brisbane, aged 51 years. Dearly loved husband of Jackie, and loved father of Maigan, Joseph, Mila and Riley*, stepfather of Joshua and Caleesto. Loved son of Mary and Bill*, brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Bevan, Julie and Ben, and Diane, Nathan, Sam and Billy. A memorial service will be held later. CURRY, Michael John:
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, 1st April 2025, Michael passed away surrounded by his family. Loved husband of the late Fa’alua Lusia Vailoaloa Curry. Son of Francis and Myrtle Curry, one of their 11 children. Loved father of Sulesa, Makelita, Denise, Fiatagata, Pesamino and Taualai. Loved Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Michael is resting at his home with visitors welcome. A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road, Invercargill, on Monday 7th April 2025 at 2pm. Dave died peacefully on March 27, 2025, at Southland Hospital. Loved husband of Lois (nee Blackmore) and the late Heather (nee Eastlake). David, Matthew, Jonathan & Anita, Lydia, Hannah Caz & Angus would like to sincerely thank everyone for their expressions of sympathy and support, following the passing of Dianne. Dianne was a loved wife, mother, mother in-law and grandma. Thank you to those who visited, brought food, sent messages, cards and flowers and joined us for the celebration of Dianne’s life. We took great comfort from your kindness, thoughfulness and presence. Our thanks to the staff at Vickery Court for their care of Dianne during the 9 months she resided there. PRICE, Frederick Roger:
(13/5/1939 - 30/3/2025) of Oporo and Winton. After a short illness, Roger hung up his helmut and hopples for the final time, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted and cherished husband of 60 years of Helen. Proud & much loved Father/Mentor/Father-in-law of John and Katrina, Grant and Janaya, David and Amelia. Special ‘Roger’ of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Emilia, Harriet and Angus, Sam, Josh, William and Tim, Charlie and Azalyia, Ada and Ralph, and Frankie. At Roger’s request, a private service has been held. With tangerine and royal blue silks fluttering behind pounding hooves, Roger took his final lap before being laid to rest in the St John’s Cemetery, Waikiwi.
