Our Totara has fallen, Laurie passed away peacefully on Monday 21st October 2024 after a brave battle. Loving husband and mate of Ros for 55 years. Loved Willy to Andrew and Emma, Brendon and Jan, Darren and Janelle, and a cherished dad to Vic. Loved Grandad to Stephen, Samantha, Tegwyn, Madoc, and Charlie. Great grandad to Carter, Layla, Ivy and Ollie. Loved brother and friend to many. A service for Laurie will be held at Gore RSA on Friday 25 October 2024 at 2pm. Peacefully at Ribbonwood Country Home, Tapanui on October 20, 2024. Loved Mum of Alan*, Linda and Ian, Grant and Rhonda, Greg and Mary, Enid and Owen Graham, loved Nana of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. (* denotes deceased). Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Sunday 20th October 2024. Aged 55 years. Dearly loved son of the late Kathleen and Pat Forde. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Tony, Jose and Mel, Chris and Sal, Terry and Louise, Marie, and the late Richard. Loved Uncle of Juliet, Olivia; William; Dylan, Erin, Brooke; Mathew, Ben, Lucy; and Niklas.

A Requiem Mass will be held in St Theresa of Lisieux Church, 40 Perth Street, Invercargill, on Friday 25th October at 1.00pm. Followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. YOUNGSON, Helen Mary (nee McGown):
Passed away peacefully at Clare House on Saturday 19 October 2024, surrounded by her family, aged 105 years. Much loved wife of the late Tom. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Kathleen and Tony* Wilkes (Melbourne), John and Robyn Youngson (Timaru), Ron and Margaret Youngson (Brisbane), Margaret and Ken Wilson-Pyne (Christchurch), June and Neil McCrostie (Riverton), Ken and Jill Youngson (Gore), Marion and Ray King (Rakahouka), and Philip and Shirley Youngson (Timaru). Much loved Grandmother to her 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A much loved Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank the staff at Clare House for their support and wonderful care during the last 8 years, and especially in the last couple of months. A service will be held at the Edendale Presbyterian Church on Friday 25 October at 11am followed by private interment.
