After a short illness, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village, aged 86 years. Loved eldest son of the late Franz and Phyllis, dearly loved husband of Ann Kennelly, and the late June (nee Haslemore), dearly loved father of Grant and Angie (England), Robyn (Wellington), Scott and Sue (Singapore), and much loved grandfather and great-grandfather of all his grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Patricia and the late Roy Munro (Invercargill), Elizabeth and the late Bill Voisey (Wellington), David and Helen Munro (Christchurch), Ian and Vivienne Munro (Tauranga), loved brother-in-law of John and Helen Haslemore (Auckland), Roger and Barbara Haslemore (Hamilton); Alene and Kevin Burrowes (Ashburton), Brian and Ali Kennelly (Adelaide), Maureen and Roger Wilhelmsen (Hamilton), Christine and Neil Watson (Auckland), Kate Kennelly (Dunedin), Michael Kennelly (Dunedin), Paul and Andrea Kennelly (Thames), and a loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Tom passed away doing what he loved, in an unfortunate 4WD accident on Thursday, January 30, 2025, aged 29 years. Fun loving adventurous son of Maxine and Bruce, and loved by his brother Benji. Loyal companion of his dog Wallace, and loved by all his extended family. Best friend of Mason Brookes, and great mate to all his friends and work colleagues. A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held, in the City Impact Church, 3 Hansen Road, Queenstown, on Friday, February 7, at 11.00am, followed by light refreshments. Of Pukerau, peacefully at Parata Rest Home, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Roland, much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Trevor, Mervyn and Tomono (Dunedin), Ruth and Chris (Woodlands), Kev and Alison* Timms (Alexandra), and a loved Grandma of Joshua, and Jake; Millie, Cilla, and Tamzin; Maisie, and Sylvie. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Rodger, Elaine*, and Catherine* Pullar (Gore), Dorothy* Pullar, Jim* and Catherine Pullar (Kaiwera), Margaret* and Tup Diack (Dunedin), Ailsa* and Maurice Anderson (Whakatane), and Marion*. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Daphne will be held on Saturday, February 8, at the Waikoikoi Presbyterian Church, at 10.30am, followed by light refreshments at the Waikoikoi Hall, before leaving for Pukerau Cemetery. On Tuesday, February 4, following a short illness, Jan passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Des; loving mother and mother-in-law of Mat and Anna, Tim and Miwa; dotting Nana of Holly, Toby, and Aya; loved sister and friend of Sheryll and Lyndsay*, John* and Rowena Scott, Shari and Brett McLean; loving sister and sister-in-law of all the Spriggs and Popham families. A service to celebrate Jan's life will be held on Saturday, February 8, at Ascot Park Hotel, commencing at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated.
