A Lotto player from Wellington will be adding a few extra destinations to their summer holiday this New Year after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Miramar New World in Wellington.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $7 million.

Meanwhile, Strike Four was won by two players in Whangarei, who each take home $200,000. The winning Strike tickets were sold at Countdown Tikipunga in Whangarei and Corner Cardz N Magz in Whangarei.

With summer holidays in full swing, Kiwi families are making the most of great weather and the outdoors. Thanks to Lotto players, organisations like the Royal NZ Coastguard and Surf Life Saving NZ receive vital funding that helps keep Kiwis safe this summer. Good on you Lotto players!

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
