  • Today the new cases are 20
  • 728 people have now recovered and the total cases in 1386.
  • 13 people are in hospital and three are in ICU
  • Yesterday 2100 tests were processed.
  • Dr Ashley Bloomfield said there are 16 significant clusters now, one more than yesterday. The new one is in Auckland, connected to an aged care facility.
  • No further deaths have been reported.
  • The 15th aged care facility that is also a cluster in Auckland is working with its DHB.
  • 115 Covid-19 cases in New Zealand are health care workers
  • Over half of healthcare workers have been infected outside work and the other half at work

  • Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said she confirmed her self, the government and public service leaders were taking a 20 percent wage cut for the next six months
