Watch CCTV of Fire Being Lit On Dee Street

A fire was deliberately lit next to a retail store on Dee Street in the early hours of Friday morning.

CCTV footage shows a group of youths walking pass the Daily Needs Mini Mart on Dee Street with the leader of the group stopping and lights cardboard boxes stored outside next door to the store.

A member of the public saw the fire and alerted the fire service, the fire was started at about 1:20am Thursday 7th March.

The store suffered some smoke damage and was cleared to re open by mid day Friday

There was fire damage to the stairs and walls of the building.
