Fire crews in Bluff were kept busy early hours this morning (Saturday 19th January) controlling a large warehouse fire at South Port Bluff.
Emergency services responded once alerted at 11:30pm on Friday, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said.
What we know:
- around 7,000 square metres, was engulfed by fire
- six fire engines and around 30 firefighters attended the blaze
- firefighters had the blaze under control by twilight
- no injuries reported as a result of the fire
- fire was not being treated as suspicious
