Contractors from Downer NZ will begin work resurfacing streets in Te Anau next week.

Road works can be disruptive for residents and businesses. The contractors will be doing all they can to minimise the impact on households and business. Your co-operation and patience will help them to get the job done as quickly as possible.

Starting on Monday 23 March, the street resealing is scheduled to continue until Thursday 2 April, barring weather delays or unforeseen circumstances.

Work will occur daily from 7am until 7pm. Most streets will take half a day up to a day to complete. During this time there will be no on-street parking available. This will stay in place until the site has been swept.

Please follow the direction of the traffic management on site as you may be required to take alternative routes.

Residents will still be able to enter/exit your property during the works. There may be small delays while emulsion is sprayed in front of your property. Please ensure you do not drive over the freshly sprayed emulsion/tar until the sealing chip has been placed.
