Two Extracted From SUV/Bus Crash Near Te Anau

This morning two people were extracted from an SUV following a crash with a bus near Te Anau.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the scene on SH94 near Hillside-Manapouri Rd at 9.06am.

Bus passengers were unharmed, but two people needed to be extracted from the SUV, she said.

Their injuries were unknown.

The road is closed to traffic and the serious crash unit had been advised.
