A vehicle hit a power pole on the corner of Tweed and Clyde Street early this morning, with the two occupants taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
The incident happened at 12:53am and both Fire and Emergency and St John attended – with the injured taken to Southland Hospital.
A part of the streets where the crash took place was cordoned off but re-opened again just after 3am.
This follows another more serious crash near Arrowtown last night involving two vehicles, which resulted in one fatality.
