State Highway 99 that passes through Wallacetown was blocked this afternoon for a time while a clean-up was done after a two car crash at the Dunlop Street intersection. The accident was reported to Police at about 2:30pm, no one was seriously injured but St John ambulance staff attended.
Fluids from the vehicles had too to be cleaned up by Fire and Emergency before traffic was re opened to public.
Reminder work on the Oreti Bridge is now underway.
