Tweed Street Upgrade Work To Start Early September

There will be some serious upgrades to parts of Tweed Street in the coming months and we want to keep you informed!
Starting September 4, contractors will be working on Tweed Street between Miller Street and Highfield Terrace.

Upgrades will include a full road reconstruction and upgrades to drainage services.
During the work, which is expected to continue through until New Year, some restrictions and lane closures might be in place on Tweed Street, and some of the side streets could be closed at times too.

While contractors will endeavour to keep the road open, motorists should expect delays, and we encourage you to find an alternative route where possible.
