Realtor group Bayleys has signed on as naming rights sponsor for Bayleys Tussock Country – New Zealand’s Country Music Festival. Bayleys has secured naming rights sponsorship of the festival for the following three years, further cementing its longstanding commitment to arts and community causes.
Announcing the partnership, David Gubb, managing director for Bayleys Southern Group said “with 94 offices across New Zealand and 31 agents in Southland, Bayleys is big on regional investment and supporting the communities that support us. We are proud to sponsor this event because the 60+ scheduled events will bring people together and will provide significant economic benefit to the region of Southland”.
New Zealand Country Music Festival Chair Jeff Rea said he was delighted to confirm the partnership with Bayleys for the Gore based festival. “By becoming naming rights sponsor for Bayleys Tussock Country, Bayleys will help us provide a platform for all levels of artists and entertainers to perform. From beginner buskers on the street to household names in front of sell-out audiences, their support will benefit hundreds of New Zealand musicians in the years to come.” Rea said.
Bayleys Tussock Country’s promotions coordinator Annabel Roy said that the festival’s various organising groups are already preparing for next year’s celebrations. “We’re energised and committed to growing both the variety of events on offer and audience numbers in 2023 and beyond”.
Following the success of the inaugural festival held in 2021 which contributed $1.7m to the Eastern Southland community, Bayleys Tussock Country 2023 is set to stage over sixty events across ten days, encompassing events managed by the Gore Country Music Club, the NZ Songwriters Trust, the NZ Gold Guitar committee, the Gore District Council and many other independent artists and community organisations.
Bayleys Tussock Country will be held from May 26th to June 5th, 2023.
