TROTTING CLUB OFFERS MORE GREAT PRIZES
The Northern Southland Trotting Club will once again run a season long competition at their three meetings in the 2016/2017 season which begins on Saturday 1 October.The club has assembled another great prize package this season and will hold a losing ticket draw at all three of their race meetings this year – Saturday 1 October, Thursday 12 January and Saturday 11 March. At each of those three meetings a losing on course ticket will be drawn and each of the daily winners will go into the final draw on 11 March to establish who wins which prize. The top prize is a trip to the Easter Cup at Addington on Saturday 15 Aprilcourtesy of the Yaldhurst Hotel. Second prize is a trip for two to Stewart Island with airfares, accommodation and breakfast courtesy of Stewart Island Flights while the third placegetter will receive a two night stay at the Distinction Luxmore Hotel in Te Anau.The club is also offering a door sales package to the Top Of The Park where $40 will take care of your food and beverage for the afternoon plus gain you a race book. Owners are invited to join the club to enjoy some hospitality in the Alabar Owners Room. The first race is timed to start at 1.00pm and admission is free.
