Tickets On Sale For Teretonga Park Season Opener

Tickets are on sale for the opening event of the motor race season at Teretonga Park in Invercargill.

The traditional season opener is the annual Carter’s Tyre Service South Island Endurance Race Series, this year due to be held on Saturday 21 September.

Pre-sale tickets, which cost just $15 are available at E Hayes & Sons, Dee Street and Auto Centre Tweed Street, Invercargill. Children 14 & under are free to attend. Tickets sold at the gate on the day cost $20 each.

The event consists of both a 1 Hour and 3 Hour Endurance race. Qualifying for both events will be held on the morning of the event from 9.30am with the 1 Hour Race timed to start at 11.15am and the 3 Hour to follow at 1.15pm.

The series has been attracting more and more high quality cars over the past few seasons with such marques as McLaren, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes and Chev Camaro among the early possibilities.
