Thunderstorm Warning

Metservice have issued a Thunderstorm Warning and to expect downpours.

Persisting northeasterlies over New Zealand are not only responsible for the the sticky conditions today (and scattered showers over the upper North Island) but will also play a part in causing something a little more electric this afternoon.

Thunderstorms are forecast over Otago and Southland during this afternoon and evening. Possible downpours with these thunderstorms has lead to a Severe Thunderstorm Watch being issued which you can view here http://bit.ly/STSWatch.
