The Weather is Always Crazy Around the Stadium Roof Collapse Anniversary
The weather since Monday 18th September has been wild wet and windy and cold. The date 18th September was a Saturday thirteen years ago back in 2010. On the spring day we got a large dumping of snow, causing the roof of Stadium southland to collapse.
The weather is always crazy around this time of year, the anniversary of Stadium Southland roof collapse, its thirteen years this week 18-23. Plus add into the mix lambing and calving when the weather always plays rough.
Local decorating & homewares store, Wrens on Yarrow Street also suffered a roof collapse under the weight of snow.
