Head over between 5:30pm – 8:30pm to dine your way around the world at this much-loved international food festival. Whether it’s a taste of home, a reminder of favourite travel memories or discovering something new, there will be something delicious for everyone.

Thanks to generous sponsorship from Ajax Building Contractors Ltd and funding granted by Creative Communities, the event will bring performance groups Kadodo Drum and Dance and Puspawarna Gamelan to the stage, along with various talented local groups.

Gore District Council’s Senior Events Coordinator Jessica Swan said she was grateful to Ajax Building Contractors and Creative Communities for supporting this event. “Thanks to them we can keep it free to enter, have all these amazing performers come to entertain the community and overall, just have a fantastic, family-friendly evening.”

Over 20 different cultures will be represented through stall holders, food vendors and performances – from Europe, to Asia and Africa, South America and even traditional Kiwi kai.

“This year we have several new food vendors joining us, representing British, Italian, South African and Māori cuisines. We’re delighted that they’re getting involved and sharing the food they love with the community,” Miss Swan said.

This event is one night only, so skip the dishes and head to the Hokonui Culture Feast this Friday.
