Teretonga Park in Invercargill celebrated 65 years of motorsport action on Sunday 6th November with a club day at the circuit with a Standing ¼ and Flying Laps in the morning before a bbq lunch and then a race meeting in the afternoon with the Noel McIntyre Drainage Club Saloons on track.
The morning activities saw many past and present members and volunteers tackle a Standing ¼ and Flying Laps with a range of competitors including Life Member York Wills who competed at the opening meeting on 30 November 1957 in a Triumph TR2. Another Life Member, Club Patron Barry Keen, was going to compete but was an unlikely starter now but will definitely be in attendance. Keen was another who competed and actually won a race at that opening meeting in his Standard 8.

Jordan Michels and Club Champion Liam MacDonald resumed their rivalry of last season in their Ford Focus V8 and Falcon respectively while there are several other very quick cars lining up such as Brian Scott of Dunedin in his Porsche 997.2, Anthony Ralston in his Nissan Bluebird and Rodger Cunninghame in his Mustang.
