After a brief hiatus last year Summer Sounds Bluff returns to the Gunpit in Bluff on Sunday 29 January.
The concert begins at 2pm and entertainment will include 2020 Southland Musician of The Year, Darcy Kerr plus the talented JEM – Emmy Roderique, Jack Dempster and Michaela Leadley.
The Gunpit has proven to be an iconic venue since it was first utilised in 2018 providing a natural amphitheatre around the World War 2 Coastal Defence Battery Observation Post. It is the ideal site to picnic while enjoying an afternoon of music.
Access to the venue is either via a 5-minute uphill walk from Stirling Point or from Gunpit Road in Bluff.
Summer Sounds is a Bluff Promotions event with the support of the Creative Communities Scheme, Bluff Engineering & Welding, i Hire Invercargill, the Department Of Conservation and Te Rūnanga O Awarua.
