Summer Sounds comes to Bluff on Sunday (25 January).

Summer Sounds is a series of free concerts and Bluff will host theirs at Argyle Park from 1pm until 2.30pm on Sunday.

A top line up of entertainers will take to the stage with Lipstick,
Chameleon and British performer Anthony John Clarke on the bill for what will be a celebration of the great outdoors, community music and local entertainment.

Three piece all girl covers band Lipstick will be very familiar to most with their wide ranging talent and repertoire.
Consisting of Jacinta Kerepeti, A J McQuarrie and Shannon Cooper-Garland (who is also part of Chameleon) they will perform alongside Chameleon, a collaboration of three of Southland’s leading entertainers, Cooper – Garland, Aaron Ives and Jason Schmidt. Both bands are in demand and work extensively throughout New Zealand and further afield. Meanwhile Clarke is an Irish born singer-songwriter who has released 12 CD’s, 3 CD Singles and published 2 songbooks who has toured throughout the UK, Europe, Australasia and the United States.

Those coming to enjoy the concert are recommended to bring a chair, a blanket, a picnic and sunscreen. This is top class entertainment in your local neighbourhood.

Entry to Argyle Park is free but a koha/donation for the performers
would be appreciated.
