Summer Sounds Bluff 2023 is ready to go at the Gunpit in Bluff from 2pm this Sunday (29 January).
BackChat consisting of Bonnie Turner and Jo Ward is the latest act confirmed for the concert, joining 2020 Southland Musician of The Year Darcy Kerr plus JEM – Emmy Roderique, Jack Dempster and Michaela Leadley – at the World War 2 Coastal Defence Battery Observation Post which has proven to be a hit with audiences and performers since it was first used for a concert in 2018.
Access to the venue is either via a 5-minute uphill walk from Stirling Point or from Gunpit Road in Bluff. Bring a picnic plus a deck chair or a blanket for a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment. There is no admission fee but a koha would be appreciated.
