Events on our What’s On page come from the Southland regional events calendar run by Great South on SouthlandNZ.com. Great South reviews and manages these event listings, and they are shared with a range of local websites, including What’s On Invers, Southland’s councils and media outlets such as the Southland Tribune, so the same calendar of events appears across them. SouthlandNZ lists What’s On Invers as one of the websites that shows all events listed on its calendar, so once your event is approved there, it will appear on our What’s On page too.

How submission works

Submit your event to SouthlandNZ through their online form.
Great South’s events team reviews events when they’re received. When approving, SouthlandNZ may modify listing information for style and grammar, invalid characters, symbols or formatting, and listings may be edited for style and length.
Once your event has been approved, you will receive an email confirming it has been published. Once your event is approved, it’ll display on our What’s On page and on other regional and media calendars.
