Forecast: Northwest gales are forecast to be severe at times, with gusts reaching 120km/h in exposed places, possibly 130km/h overnight and early Sunday morning. Please note, another period of strong northwest winds are expected from overnight Sunday or early Monday morning and further wind watch or warning will be issued.

Heavy Rain Watch

Area: Fiordland
Valid: 16 hours from 8:00pm Saturday to 12:00pm Sunday
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain. Rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria.
