Traffic on Esk Street will be affected as follows:

  • Work on Stage Two begins on October 23, 2015
  • Parking on the south side of Esk Street will become progressively unavailable as work progresses. Alternative parking spaces outside the Council building are provided in the Esk Street Number One carpark.
  • Initially traffic will be maintained in both directions but as work nears Deveron Street, access for west bound traffic will be blocked.
  • Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained.Council’s Capital Projects Team Leader, Simon Collie, said contractors would be removing their equipment from Kelvin Street over the next few days as they began work on Esk Street.“Please drive safely when you’re near the work sites. Thank you for your understanding,” Mr Collie said.
