Squash Southland Doubles Title Winners

Back to back! Aaron Kimura and Garth Cleland [both from Gore T&C Squash Club] have defended their Southland Doubles title held at Squash City today.

24 teams split over 3 Divisions embraced the dress up theme, with doctors and nurses, Bananas in Pyjamas, Superman/men and forestry workers all out on court. Teams used a mix of tactics from front and back, sides, speedster/not so much to absolute chaos!

Well done to Tanya Colyer and Adrian Mennell from Riverton Squash Club for organising and running the event as a fundraiser for the Southland Masters’ team that will be competing in the Bay of Plenty from Sept 14-18. Huge thanks to Squash City for the use of their courts.
