Southland

• UPDATE: SH93 Mataura to Clinton – Snow – ROAD CLOSED – Use SH1.
• UPDATE: SH94 Te Anau to Milford Sound – Snow– ROAD CLOSED – Milford Road closed overnight from the Lower Hollyford Rd intersection with forecast widespread snow. Likely re-opening by 10:00 am Wednesday 6 June. Chains must be carried for the rest of the Milford Road overnight.
• SH98 Dacre to Lorneville – Black Ice – Caution – Road users are advised to take extra care.
• UPDATE: SH96 Winton to Mataura – Snow – Caution – Road users are advised to take extra care.
• NEW: SH94 Lumsden to Gore – Snow – Caution – Road users are advised to take extra care.
• UPDATE: SH94 Te Anau to Mossburn – Snow – Caution – Road users are advised to take extra care.

• NEW: SH87 Outram to Kyeburn – Snow and Ice – Vehicle Restrictions – Four-wheel drive vehicles only. Road users are advised to take extra care. Closed to towing vehicles.
