The racing was part of the Southland Twin Rivers Jetboat Race . (They raced on the Mataura River on Sat 22^nd August and The Oreti River on Sun 23^rd August.

11 Boats took part in the race.

The first 3 places for the weekend went to First: Regan Williamson, Second: Roger Preston, Third: Garth Mc Master
