Southland Table Tennis Wrap Up On Recent Successes

Members of the Southland Table tennis club has had some great success recently.

Great work – Under 13 boys. Silver medalists at the NZ Champs. A great win over Canterbury in the semi final then some close games against Auckland in the final. We are all stoked!!!! Looking forward to more great games today in the individual events.

Finn Holden, left, and Max Henderson after winning gold in the under-15 boys’ doubles at the national championships in Tauranga on Tuesday night. Finn and Max, from Bay of Plenty, didn’t drop a game throughout the event to win the title, beating a classy New Caledonian duo in the final. The boys also won bronze in the under-18 boys’ doubles and Finn added a second doubles bronze with Abbey Webb, from Manawatu, in the under-18 mixed event.
