Southlanders supportive of gender equality have a chance to kick-start the conversation at Are We There Yet? presented by KIND Women at Centrestage Theatre in Invercargill on Thursday 13th September.
KIND Women is a group of women passionately committed to not only the issues surrounding gender equality but also getting things done in their community, ringleader Rebecca Amundsen says.
“Local women will be talking about their experiences, including the amazing Pat Veltkamp-Smith and The Awareness Project,” she said.
“Looking at the line-up it will be far from ordinary and certainly not boring.”
KIND Women have also got another couple of events up their sleeves, which they will be announcing during the evening.
Speakers include:
- Becs Amundsen – The Ringleader
- Sarah McCarthy – Middle-aged Women
- Shaz Reece – Raging, Roving Reporter
- The Awareness Project
