Southland Primary Schools Athletics Sports Day

Hundreds of Southland primary school-aged children are expected to converge at Surrey Park Athletics Stadium on Saturday (April 8) for the Southland Primary Schools Athletics Sports championships.

The track and field event is scheduled to start at 9.15am with long jump and end with age-group relays beginning at 4.10pm.

The event is for qualifying Year 1 to Year 8 Southland-wide school children and will end with a formal presentation in front of the main grandstand at about 5pm.

There is a gate charge for spectators; Adult $2, Child $1. Results from the day will be available on the Sport Southland website.
