Dunedin alt-rockers Iron Mammoth’s gig at the Southland Musicians Club on Friday night is a fitting way to herald a mammoth lineup of gigs coming up to the club.

February 21: Iron Mammoth w/ Filth Wizard There’s nothing generic about these peaky Dunedin lads. Frenetic offbeat rock performed with gusto on non-generic rock instruments. Check out their song Heart to the Slaughter on Spotify. Glorious! $10 on the door.
February 28: The Eastern One of Aotearoa’s great country music, beard and banjo musical collectives, The Eastern bring their riotous, rollicking alt-country experience to Invers. Some money is expected to change hands at the door. Not too much probably. Adam McGrath’s quite good like that.
March 3: AGM you are most welcome to join us at our groovy little enclave’s annual general meeting. Why not put your name forward for the committee? Kickoff at 7.30pm.

March 21: Chroma 3 Invercargill’s own very active Rainbow Nation bring you the third incarnation of Chroma, a musical shining beacon of the LGBTQI+ community.
March 27: Bex Marshall Blues Trio Musical tsunami Bex Marshall is a British Blues Award winner and four-time European Blues Awards nominee. Her unique style of guitar playing and Joplinesque powerhouse voice are going to slay southern blues fans, for certain. I am so there Ticketing TBC.

April 4: Ronél Hunter Kaka Point-based, South Africa-raised storyteller-singer-songstress Ronél Hunter brings her Move at Will album release tour to Invercargill.
