Fifteen Lotto players from across the country are celebrating after each winning $19,545 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night’s live draw. Among the lucky winners was one player from Southland.

One of the Second Division winners also took home Powerball Second Division, boosting their total prize to $39,111. That winning ticket was sold online via MyLotto to a player in Marlborough.

The night’s biggest winner was a Lotto First Division player from Upper Hutt who is now $1 million richer. The winning ticket was bought at Pak’nSave Upper Hutt.

Powerball was not struck this time, meaning the jackpot rolls over to Wednesday’s draw where it will be worth a massive $15 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will climb to $1.2 million.

Anyone who purchased a ticket from Pak’nSave Upper Hutt is urged to check it as soon as possible. Tickets can be checked in-store, online at MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.
