It was an extremely successful week for the team last week at the Tour de Siak in Indonesia, with the boys coming away with what would have to be one of our strongest team performances to date!
Following back to back stage victories on the opening two stages, including a clean sweep of the podium on the first day, the boys were super strong in defending their positions over the final two days of racing.
Overall, it was Matt Zenovich who claimed the title as the winner of the 2018 Tour de Siak, with Marcus Culey, Ben Dyball and Ryan Cavanagh rounding out the next three spots on the individual general classification – an extremely incredible result to take out the top four major spots!
The team also took out a commanding victory in the Team’s General Classification, with Ben Dyball also finishing in second place in the points classification.
It was a fantastic response to the disappointment of not being able to race in Japan, and we now take confidence heading in to the start of our next race, the International Tour de Banyuwangi Ijen, which kicks off tomorrow morning.
Huge congratulations to the team, and wishing them all the best for Banyuwangi!
